Stellar Creative Lab is excited to announce its contribution to What If…? the first animated series from Marvel Studios. The series, which recently premiered on Disney + is centered in the Marvel Universe that includes Loki, Black Widow, Winter Soldier, WandaVision, and more.
Vancouver-based Stellar Creative Lab was one of the independent animation studios that collaborated with Marvel Studios on What If…? Stellar animated the nine-and-a-half-minute action-packed opening of the first season’s finale and is currently in production on three episodes for Season 2. Stellar Creative Lab is a high-end animation studio founded by two industry veterans, Hasmi Ferguson and Bert Van Brande, who between them bring decades of animation and VFX experience to the table.

Each episode focuses on a different hero from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. What If…? imagines what would happen if the events we saw in the Marvel films worked out differently. In true Marvel style, the stories will always speak to the heart of our circumstances. Testing their mettle, and in the end exploring the many definitions of what it means to be a hero. Stellar’s other credits include Disney’s Baymax Dreams Real-time Shorts, Fancy Nancy, Golden Age, and The Addams Family cg-feature marketing and they are currently working on a flagship animated series for DreamWorks Television Animation.
