The romantic dramedy Wives Of The Skies is a short film that’s long on entertainment. It’ll keep you guessing. So make sure that your seatbelt is tight, as the action unfolds on camera.
This funny story takes place in 1965. Two attractive airline stewardesses “Fran” and “Marcy” happen to meet a British writer “Derrick.” He wants to interview the pair of somewhat air-headed stewardesses, for a documentary…and dinner. They agree to meet with him in their room, with a cameraman “Kevin” in tow. Let’s just say, dinner gets a little “tight,” and a whole lot of entertaining.
Wives of the Skies involves wholesome sexual exploration, along with the issues of Trust vs. Mistrust. It’s in full view when Fran, who’s into exquisitely tied knots of Japanese Kinbaku Rope Bondage. Derrick gets more than his “frequent flyer miles” can handle when he interviews these two airline stewardesses for his documentary.

The film may first arouse the stereotyped perceptions of sexual proclivities of airline stewardesses. But, this will also dispel any assumed perceptions. This is where the brilliance of Director/Writer Honey Lauren manages to switch and deliver the story’s turnaround after “certain things” happen. The masculinity and the soul of a man speak with his eyes. No spoilers here!
