Originally hailing from Wisconsin, NAACP award-winning actress Talia Jackson, moved to Santa Barbara at the age of seven to begin pursuing her twin passions of acting and singing. Currently starring alongside Loretta Devine in Netflix’s Family Reunion, she remains just as dedicated to her music.
With filming on hold during the pandemic, Talia began writing all of her own music as a solo songwriter and will be releasing a song each month through the end of the year. The song continues ongoing themes in her music, such as her identity as a biracial woman and overcoming mental health issues involving suicidal thoughts, self-harm, and anxiety disorders.
