Director Colin Trevorrow kept the entire plot under wraps until the movie’s release. That isn’t easy to do. Did the mystery pay off? It had a short-run and was in limited, theatrical release, which didn’t help the movie reach its full potential. It was overlooked by many of the critics and received very little buzz. It’s a shame because it’s really a great movie with an awesome cast. Naomi Watts plays Susan Carpenter, a single mother of two, living in an idyllic town. Not everything is what it appears to be and soon Susan finds herself thrust into a world of lies and deceit discovered by her 11-year-old, precocious son named Henry Carpenter (Jaeden Lieberher). Lee Pace (Dr. David Daniels), Dean Norris (Glenn Sickleman), Jacob Tremblay (Peter Carpenter), and Maddie Zieglar (Christina) co-star in the movie. DVD Netflix subscribers gave it 4.4 stars.

If you’re a fan of fast cars and wild special effects, then this movie will satisfy your adrenaline monkey. A hired getaway driver named Baby (Ansel Elgort), helps his cronies commit bank heists, which leads to a double cross, a police hunt, and deranged criminals intent on making Baby pay. Will he get the girl, save the day, and live happily ever after? You must watch the movie for the answer. Jon Bernthal (Griff) and Jon Hamm (Buddy) co-stars in the movie. DVD Netflix subscribers gave it 4.4 stars.

Be prepared to laugh out loud! Maximo (Eugenio Derbez) gets the boot by his mistress, who considers him too old to be her lover. With limited options, he’s must live with his sister and her son. His new living arrangements fuel his hunt for a new paramour. He will stop at nothing to return to the lifestyle he has grown accustomed to. Salma Hayek (Sara) and Raphael Alejandro (Hugo) co-stars in the movie. DVD Netflix subscribers gave it 4.4 stars.

This is another short run and limited release movie that was overlooked. It’s heavy on dialogue because it’s about the relationship of married couple Mary (Debra Winger) and Michael (Tracy Letts). They agree to divorce, but life has its own plan. This movie has an interesting plot twist that you rarely get to see in a dramedy. The movie also stars Aidan Gillen (Robert). DVD Netflix subscribers gave it 3.4 stars.

When a U.S. Marshal Thomas McCord (Jackson Rathbone) seeks justice for his brother’s murder, nothing stops him making it happen. Faced with a corrupt mayor (Stephen Lang) bent on igniting the civil war, Thomas has several tough decisions to make. If you’re a fan of westerns, then I recommend this movie. Justice is an independent release, so it had a limited run before it went straight to DVD. Ellen Hollman (Ginny), Jamie-Lynn Sigler (Melissa), and Nathan Parsons (James McCord) also co-star in the movie. DVD Netflix subscribers gave it 3.2 stars.
