Occhi Magazine is excited to have the premiere of Arc of the Sun, the new music video by Bodhiheart. The track is off their debut album Love Rules: Meditations for Cello and Piano. The cello and piano duo of Noah Hoffeld and Wells Hanley began in New York City while performing in various ensembles. Their mutual love of playing together, and meditation, inspired them to create original improvised music, sharing with audiences what they’ve learned from the spiritual path.
For Love Rules, they brought along the masterful Mark Egan on fretless bass and Arjun Bruggeman on tablas and percussion. Egan is famous for his collaboration with the Pat Metheny Trio, and beyond. The result is music that defies categories and genres. The album debuted at #14 on the top 100 NACC Chill Chart and reached #9 on the Zone Music Chart for New Age and World Music.
