Ray Palousek is a pop, jazz, and R&B singer/songwriter and pianist from Holland, TX. Starting his career in music at age 15, Ray is a piano bar entertainer and works on a cruise ship for 10 months per year. He has performed on cruise ships around the world, as well as countless venues in TX.
He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Jazz Performance from MTSU. Discussing his studies, “My college education helped me create outside the box and gave me so many tools I still use creatively today.” With influences such as Michael Buble, Ray aspires to create a wide variety with his songs, writing about themes and topics involving personal experiences and relationships. Emotionally, love is at the core of his music. His identity as a songwriter/artist is honest and vulnerable.
Palousek has now released his newest EP, titled ‘Colorblind’ available on all digital streaming platforms. The EP exhibits his form of poetry through each song. Nothing but original. ‘Colorblind’, showcases his versatility with genre-bending songs, alongside pleasing vocals and catchy lyrics, The EP is engaging, and identifiable with multitudes of audiences. Ray Palousek’s originality is what makes him stand out as an artist.
