Latin-infused country artist Andrea Vasquez is quickly establishing herself as a major player in Country music. She wrapped up a successful CMA Music Festival and has been touring continuously on her Nashville Hits The Roof tour, performing at selected Tin Roof locations in the Southeast region. She is also a member of the Song Suffragettes, the only all-female country music singer-songwriter weekly show in Nashville. Andrea was also awarded Top 3 Best Country Music Artist and Best Nashville Singer-Songwriter in 2022’s Best of Nashville Awards.

Now, Andrea Vasquez is getting personal with a vulnerable song and official brand-new music video for Overthink, which recently premiered on VEVOTIDAL, and Apple  This song is one of the seven of her brand-new album The Bed You Made, which was released earlier this month on all digital streaming platforms.

The video is made its premiere on September 29th, in honor of National Hispanic Heritage Month.  Overthink, solely written by Andrea came from literally overthinking. “I am so pleased with how the song came out and the attention it’s been receiving since I released it as a single in March,” says Andrea. “It is now on my brand-new album, which completes the entire heartfelt process of a breakup. As soon as the song was finished, I knew I wanted to do a music video for this.” Produced by Nashville-based photographer and videographer Jessica Amerson, this video includes clips of Andrea growing up, performing on stage, pursuing her country music dream, and proving that making a mark in country music as a Latina is not always easy. “I wanted to not only showcase what people may go through when it comes to overthinking like a new relationship, career, etc. but to show my growth as an artist and how being a Latina in country music impacts me.”

With several singles under her belt and the success she is receiving with her brand-new album, there’s no denying that she is becoming a success story that future generations of aspiring country artists who share her Latino heritage will strive to emulate.
