Despite working entirely remotely, the duo has crafted a sound deeply rooted in their shared passion for music and creative harmony. Based in the Midwest, producer Aibai and vocalist Vinny first crossed paths while working as producers for a sync licensing company in Minneapolis. Before joining forces, Aibai was recognized for her indie electronic production, while Vinny lent his soulful voice to the Minneapolis R&B band, The Love Channel. Their unexpected partnership quickly revealed a natural synergy, with Vinny’s emotive vocals effortlessly complementing Aibai’s atmospheric production. Inspired by this connection, they launched their collaborative project, Aibai & Vinny.
Their self-titled debut EP is a dreamy fusion of indie folk and ethereal soundscapes, exploring themes of nostalgia, introspection, love, and personal growth.
