Bristol-based alt-indie quartet Adult Leisure are thrilled to reveal that their highly anticipated debut album, The Things You Don’t Know Yet, will be released on October 3rd, 2025. Ahead of the album’s release, the band is set to drop their next single, ‘See Her’, on May 9th. The track features a special guest appearance by saxophonist John Waugh, celebrated for his collaborations with The 1975 and Sam Fender.

‘See Her’ follows the success of February’s widely acclaimed single ‘Dancing Don’t Feel Right’, which garnered praise from The Line of Best Fit, Pop Journal, and Ones To Watch. Previous singles ‘Kiss Me Like You Miss Her’ and ‘Borderline’ also made waves, receiving support from BBC Radio 6’s Indie Forever show, Fresh on the Net, and multiple Spotify editorial playlists. Notably, ‘Borderline’ marked the band’s first national TV sync placement, opening an episode of E4’s Made In Chelsea.

Recorded and mixed by Ollie Searle at Humm Studios and mastered by John Webber (known for his work with David Bowie, Duran Duran, and Coach Party), ‘See Her’ is a high-energy, nostalgia-infused anthem packed with vibrant melodies and sing-along choruses. Staying true to Adult Leisure’s signature style, the track delivers a biting yet playful take on the end of a relationship, celebrating the liberating realisation that life is better on the other side.

Reflecting on the song’s evolution and meaning, vocalist and lyricist Neil Scott shares, “We wrote ‘See Her’ towards the end of 2023, and over the past two years, it’s grown into a track unapologetically soaked in pop but still true to who we are and the stories we want to tell. Lyrically, it’s a sarcastic look at the breakdown of a relationship. It’s not about sadness or regret—it’s about that moment when you realise just how much better off you are now that it’s over. Having John Waugh join us on saxophone was a dream come true; he adds the perfect touch of spice the song needed. This track means everything to us, and we can’t wait for people to hear it and sing along with us.”

With ‘See Her’, Adult Leisure continues to showcase their knack for crafting infectious, emotionally charged indie anthems. As they gear up for their debut album release, the band is poised to solidify their place as one of the most exciting acts in the alt-indie scene.
