This September sees the much-anticipated return of The Art of PR exhibition, once again shining a spotlight on the exceptional creative talents within the UK public relations industry.
The exhibition will take place at Coningsby Gallery in London from September 8th to 13th. Entry is free, giving visitors a unique opportunity to view and purchase original artworks, including paintings, drawings, letterpress prints, digital media, wet plate photography, digital photography, and sculptures. For those who cannot attend in person, the exhibition will also be available online through the Occhi Contemporary Art gallery from September 15th to October 15th, allowing art enthusiasts everywhere to enjoy this inspiring event.
Returning to this year’s exciting line-up is the talented Nadia Padayachy. A self-taught artist, Nadia is celebrated for her fearless use of colour and her striking command of light, which together form the foundation of her contemporary portraiture. Her bold palette injects every painting with vibrancy and depth. In 2024, Nadia’s talent was recognised nationally when she appeared as a contestant on Sky Arts Portrait Artist of the Year. Her self-portrait with her co-sleeping babies captivated the judges, standing as a testament to her expressive style and artistic vision.
Nadia’s creative journey is also deeply influenced by her lifelong passion for cinema. In 2018, she embarked on a personal digital art project: an A–Z of movie posters, reimagining cherished films from her youth, each representing a letter of the alphabet. This playful and heartfelt tribute to film culture was paused after the letter K, as Nadia took a five-year hiatus to start and raise a family. Now, she returns to the project with renewed energy and a fresh approach, transforming her digital designs into bold neon acrylic paintings—each piece infused with her characteristic flair and cinematic inspiration. The upcoming Art of PR exhibition will debut her latest works in the A–Z series, offering a vivid glimpse into her artistic evolution and enduring love for film. Nadia continues to explore the intersection of portraiture, pop culture, and bold, expressive colour.
Based in Cambridgeshire, Nadia balances her creative practice with her role as Global and UK Marketing Manager at Grayling, a leading PR, Public Affairs, and Integrated Communications agency headquartered in London.
