This year’s JSM Management Christmas Event was a true celebration of the UK music industry’s vibrant community spirit. Renowned for hosting some of the country’s largest and most influential networking gatherings, JSM Music Management—led by John Saunderson (Head of Creative at Notting Hill Music Group) once again delivered an unforgettable evening. Camden’s iconic Electric Ballroom set the stage as over 1,500 professionals from across the music world, including managers, labels, publishers, festival bookers, producers, and passionate musicians, gathered together.

What makes the JSM networking events so valuable is their unique ability to foster a relaxed and welcoming environment where industry stakeholders can connect informally, share ideas, and build lasting relationships. The Christmas event perfectly embodied this ethos, with fantastic hospitality alongside a genuine sense of community, and outstanding live music, including a performance by So Good (pictured). Thanks to the partnership with Amplead, emerging artists are allowed to perform on stage before an audience of peers and industry leaders—a rare and invaluable chance for new talent to shine.

The Electric Ballroom buzzed with energy, warmth, and creativity. The event was impeccably organised, with every detail—from the entertainment to the refreshments – contributing to an inclusive atmosphere where everyone, regardless of experience, felt at home. Personally, the highlight was meeting many passionate musicians whose talent and enthusiasm were truly inspiring. I am certain that many of the artists showcased this year will be ones to watch in 2026 and beyond.

Congratulations to John Saundersgon and his colleagues behind the scenes. A special thanks must go to interdisciplinary artist Gary Thomas Kypa, whose photography skillfully captured the ambience and the very best moments of the event. I’m sure attendees will agree his images perfectly reflect the spirit and excitement of the evening.
