The Southbank Centre has unveiled the first wave of artists set to appear at Harry Styles’ Meltdown, running 11–21 June 2026, as part of the venue’s 75th anniversary celebrations.
Curated by Harry Styles, the much-anticipated festival takes over the Southbank Centre’s multi-venue site, promising an adventurous programme that moves fluidly across electronic, jazz, pop, and experimental music—a collision of eras, influences, and boundary-pushing performances designed for discovery as much as devotion.
As part of his curation, Styles will also take to the stage himself, performing a headline show at the Royal Festival Hall on 16 June 2026, with full details still to come.

Reflecting on the significance of this year’s line-up, Styles shared, “Music is my life, every artist involved in this year’s Meltdown festival means so much to me, both as a fan, and a musician. It’s a true honour to host legends who have paved the way for the generations that follow them, as well as new acts that have inspired me to push my creative boundaries. There are some incredibly unique, one-of-a-kind performances planned, and the Southbank Centre is such a special place to experience live music. I hope attendees and performers have an unforgettable time this year at Meltdown. I can’t wait!”

Among the first confirmed names are Erika de Casier and Kamasi Washington (pictured), signalling a line-up that’s as emotionally immersive as it is musically expansive.

On Saturday 13 June, Erika de Casier brings her intimate, dreamy pop to the Royal Festival Hall, offering an evening that’s likely to feel more like a slow-burning spell than a standard gig. Her return to the Southbank Centre follows a previous appearance in futuretense, the venue’s free gig series spotlighting emerging talent and future-facing sounds. Later that same evening, Foushée takes over the Queen Elizabeth Hall with what promises to be a compelling, genre-blurring set—moving between alternative R&B, rock, and experimental textures with the kind of restless energy that feels perfectly at home within the Meltdown ethos.

On Sunday 14 June, jazz visionary Kamasi Washington delivers two performances at the Royal Festival Hall. First, Jazz Legends Reimagined sees Washington revisiting and reshaping canonical works with his signature scale and spirit. He then returns with Fearless Movement Live, a sweeping full-ensemble performance rooted in spiritual jazz and cinematic composition—the kind of show that doesn’t just fill a room, but transforms it.

With more announcements expected soon, Harry Styles’ Meltdown is already shaping up to be one of the most talked-about live music events of summer 2026. For further information, please visit the Southbank Centre website.
