One Tree Entertainment presents Samanta Nobody, a powerful new Irish drama that shines a light on youth homelessness—and on the life-changing impact that can come from being truly seen.
.
At the centre of the story is Samanta, a teenager surviving on the margins of society. Every attempt she’s made to reach out for help has been met with rejection, teaching her to move through the world alone, unheard, and unnoticed. To most people, she’s just another young person slipping through the cracks. But what no one sees is what she carries quietly with her: an extraordinary gift for songwriting and performance. It isn’t a pastime—it’s a private lifeline, a way of making sense of the pain, the silence, and the long stretches of being overlooked.
.
When a local music shop owner discovers her talent, Samanta is confronted with a possibility she has never allowed herself to believe in—that music could be the open door she’s been waiting for. Not simply an escape, but a way forward. A chance at connection. A reason to trust again.
Samanta Nobody explores the courage it takes to believe in people after the world has given you every reason not to. It’s a story about the healing power of creative expression, and the profound difference one person’s belief can make—especially when that belief arrives at the exact moment a young life is close to giving up.
.
Written and directed by Ciaran Creagh, the film stars Ruby Jean Lennon—winner of the Diff Discovery Award for New Talent at the Dublin International Film Festival, and one of Ireland’s most compelling emerging performers—alongside Brendan Conroy, whose credits include Hokum (2026), That They May Face the Rising Sun (2023), and Kings (2007).
The film is available now on Digital and On Demand.
