CŒUR ACIDE is a retro-futurist dance experience, crafting seductive, high-fashion acid house-like signals beamed in from a lost future.
Conceived by Canadian producer Pat Lok alongside Haitian vocalist F-Mack, the project unfolds as a mythical musical universe—equal parts club rush and cinematic world-building. Fresh from their collaboration “Dirty Luv” (A&R’d by A-Trak and released on Chromeo’s Juliet Records), the duo now step forward with a mysterious live experience that feels like Empire of the Sun colliding with Hercules and Love Affair.
.
Their self-titled EP moves fluidly through eras and energies: from explosive 90s rave on “Let’s Sweat,” to ballroom-ready anthems like “Whisper from Above” and “Bite Me,” and the soaring touch of 80s R&B on “Acid Heart” and “Bougie.” It’s a release that doesn’t just nod to dance music history—it reshapes it into something stylised, dramatic, and fiercely contemporary.
.
Positioning themselves as time-travelling refugees from a dystopian future where art and intimacy are outlawed, CŒUR ACIDE isn’t presented as simply a band, but a call to rebellion. Each track lands like a recovered memory fragment, part of a wider storyline that blurs the lines between music, fashion, and futurism.
That immersive vision came to life with the debut of their live show in Mexico City, where an exclusive sold-out crowd also witnessed the unveiling of their signature tea—an unexpected but central element in the project’s narrative. It’s a detail that underlines what CŒUR ACIDE is building: not just releases, but a world you can step into.
They return with “Touch Me (All Night Long),” a passionate cry reborn in italo disco—an end-times anthem and the first taste of their forthcoming EP.
