In 2018, singer-songwriter Jeremy Voltz took a chance on a stranger. Oliver Charles, an artist Jeremy barely knew invited him to Montreal, and try making some music together. During that week as they wrote together, setting out to create a new sound, different from anything either of them had previously created. Creatively challenging each other went to uncharted places, and the result was the track “Miracles.”
Discussing the project Jeremy describes, ‘It was something neither of us alone could have made and we knew this was the start of something important. This dark and otherworldly song is about the courage to journey, to leave your old life behind and trust the process, and to believe that great things will happen out of sheer force of will. Your journey is your own, and it’s up to each of us to find and hold on to the magic and miracles within our story’.
