Sid Seth is a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist based between Ahmedabad, India, and New York City. His music blends elements of soul and pop with heartfelt storytelling, marked by disarming honesty. After relocating to New York to study at the Manhattan School of Music, Sid has established a reputation for intimate performances that place emotion at the heart of each song. Whether he is playing the piano or guitar, his songwriting is deeply rooted in human connection, inviting listeners into personal moments that feel both specific and universal.
His latest single, “Precious Gift,” is his most vulnerable release to date. Written in the wake of his mother’s passing, the song serves as a means to express emotions that were difficult to articulate. Although the chorus was composed years earlier as he witnessed her health decline, Sid felt unprepared to fully confront those feelings until after her death.
Sid has performed at some of New York City’s most renowned venues, including Rockwood Music Hall, Bowery Electric, Feinstein’s 54 Below, and The Green Room, as well as at various locations across India.
