Hollywood rolls out the red carpet in Romford Town!

British Production Companies Velox Entertainment and Lndn Knts return to the UK from a successful visit to the AFM bring home some of that Hollywood glitz for their Red Carpet event being held at Premiere Cinema, Mercury Mall on the 24th November.

Their latest feature ’24 Little Hours’ that was filmed in just eight days, is a crime thriller with a cast of recognizable faces from British TV and film. Kris Johnson, known for ‘Undercover Hooligan’, Fiona Skinner starring alongside Tom Hardy in ‘Taboo’ and the critically acclaimed ‘Sweet science of bruising’, Marc Bannerman who is currently in the TV series ‘Snatch’ with Rupert Grint, Danny Midwinter known for ‘Human Traffic’ and ‘The Office’ star Ewen Macintosh.

Producer Damien Morley explains how the film came about “I previously worked with Paul whilst developing ‘We Still Die the Old Way’, I was always impressed with his attention to detail and ability to deliver quickly without compromising quality. So I really wanted to work with him again, filming ’24 Little Hours’ took just 8 days. It was an intense shoot with a great crew who ensured that the “measure twice, cut once” mentality was utilized effectively. Paul and the team have been pivotal to the success of this production, I’m very proud of what we have achieved.”

The plot centers around a vengeful ex-con who goes on a 24-hour killing spree, never saying a word whilst the discredited detective investigating the case is convinced there is more to it than the evidence suggests. Diane Knight, co-founder of Lndn Knts, knew Romford had to be the place to hold its premiere. “We received a lot of support from local businesses in and around Romford and Brentwood with this ambitious shoot. So it just made sense to hold the red carpet screening in our hometown where we can give a little bit of love back to those who helped us out.”
