Philine is a talented songwriter who invites her listeners to explore her imagination through her music. Her delicate tunes, vivid lyrics, and tender voice immediately capture your attention, but her wild imagination truly captivates and inspires. She has a unique ability to turn her emotions into real-life magic, letting her thoughts dance around in catchy melodies and shimmering chords. Originally from The Netherlands, Philine has released her EP ‘Side Effects of Living in a Fantasy’ with Nettwerk Music Group in 2024, which showcases her creativity and musical prowess. The artist’s latest offering,”Green” features an acoustic guitar that washes over a soft beat as her breathy cadence instantly enchants.

“During the writing process, I spent a lot of time inside of my brain,” she notes. “I have a huge imagination, and I’m a big overthinker. I tend to live in fantasy more than reality. I get so caught up with how I perceive things and my almost movie-like version of life. The upside to it is that with a mind like that, I’ll always have stories to tell. But the thing with a story is, it’s not reality, it’s a story. And it keeps you from living in the actual reality. When that happens, or when reality hits in my face, I isolate myself and become very absent to the outside world. These songs are the moments when I’m captured inside of my thoughts.”

The artist is gaining momentum in her music career. She kicked off her career with her first EP called “So Sick of Myself” in 2023, and since then, her music has generated millions of streams. Additionally, Philine collaborated with Melle for the song “Old Summers,” which has received over 524K streams on Spotify. With her upcoming release “Side-Effects of Living in a Fantasy,” set to come out in 2024, Philine is expected to reach new heights in her music career.
